Izzie is my fave doctor on Grey's Anatomy...

Been watching DVDs practically non-stop since i last posted.

Caught:

Breakfast at Tiffany's for the first time. (Audrey Hepburn is so pretty)
Top Gun for the umpteenth time.
The Office Season 2 (UK)
Grey's Anatomy Season 1. (izzie is gorgeous!)

The reason for this DVD mania? Videoezy Online - an extremely simple DVD rental concept where you pick the DVDs online, they mail the DVD to you, you watch it and then post it back. And i signed up for the unlimited DVDs per month plan. -grin-

The downside? The priority arrangement for the rental queue (since you can only hold onto 3 discs at a time) doesn't seem to work all that well. But i am fervently hoping that they send out Grey's Anatomy Season 2 next. -fingers crossed-

Of course, it was not all DVD watching. There was also some drifting action over the past weeks. Scarlett is now running on chrome dish rims and ABS tyres.

Ok. Bad picture of me. But you see the rims and tyres!! Anyway, here's a short review on ABS vs PVC (warning! numbers are assigned based on arbitrary gut feel!):
1. Control - ABS provides much better control but if you ask me, there is such a thing as too much grip and there are instances where you really miss the slidy nature of PVC (such as an ultra long drift on a medium rough surface). The problem in such cases? A tendency for the car to straight line. But other than that, you will definitely find your control and steering improving. Score here? ABS 6/10 PVC 10/10 (since i seldom need the extra control).
2. Speed - No fight here. ABS is the clear winner! It is so much faster that PVC runners should stay clear of ABS running monsters. ABS 10/10 PVC 0/10.
3. Style and technical points - No fight here again. But this time in favour of PVC. PVC provides a fluid drift motion D1 style. Slower speed allows for fancier and showier drifts. And more technique to showcase. ABS 2/10 PVC 10/10.
Conclusion? ABS is wickedly fun and everyone must get a set, speed is a narcotic. Heh. But don't throw away the PVC just yet. Cos sometimes, you just wanna show off your skill. :)
