recess week

recess week came and went in a blink of an eye.

i managed to squeeze in much more drifting than i had been able to for a long time but that kinda meant that i didnt get in as much mugging as i had hoped to do so. hope it doesnt show too much in the mid sems ahead. :p

for the past week, i had also been toying with the idea of a new chassis. looked around and basically, its more or less a tossup between the hotbodies cyclone s or the yokomo drift kit. either ways, the new kit should set me back approximately 500 - 600. so i guess its time to start looking for a holiday job? heh.

if things go well, then i suppose i will be messing around with a new kit in time for christmas.
-cross fingers-

yesterday also saw me reliving my childhood WITH CHAR-Gs!!!! i finally located them and they were on sale! 18 bucks each!!!!

for those not in the know, char-gs were first released in 1993, and were then the smallest rc toycars around at the size of 4 inches. and now, nearly 13 years later; a flashback to the past!!!!

and this time, its half its size!!!! very cute, but not quite serious rc shit.

finally before i go, i had done some further tinkering with my tt-01(for those interested): rear camber is now neutral.
