before my monetary health takes a turn for the worse in the lean months ahead, i indulged in a last bit of consumerism to satisfy my erm... well... just because i felt like it. now people who know me well enough (yes, you unfortunate blokes) more or less know that when i spend money, it usually runs into the 3 figures. sadly (for my wallet at least), this time was no exception. the pretty gleaming white ipod nano called out to me in my dreams and drew me down to sim lim square in search of a bargain.

ok, so that might have been just a wee bit exaggerated since readers of my blog will know that i had been planning to buy an mp3 player since i started the blog. :) well, nearly 2 months on, i finally succumbed to marketing genius (of steve jobs); product design and packaging (of Apple); and shelled out for an ipod nano instead of the creative zen v.
