the bukit batok drift scene is growing, rapidly. the mini meet on fri had an attendance of 9 drivers and up. the main event on saturday? impossible to calculate.

how and why it happended? noone can really tell for sure. maybe it was the demand for a meet in the west. or maybe we just happened to launch into a wave of beginners, too shy to head out to serangoon but eager to learn.

whatever it is, there is the inevitable suspicion that if we grow any bigger, we will eventually be unable to cater to beginners. as of now, there is a tension between setting up an easier track so that the newbies can give it a run and setting something fun and challenging (for those who have been drifting awhile).

well. if the inevitable should happen, then i suppose that i will have no choice but to organise more triXie mini meets. -grin-
