9.15: i pulled up into choa chu kang park and parked my car; disturbing the couple parked beside me who seemed to be 'talking' -grin-
9.20: walked over to the toilet, no signs of other team members
9.30: walked out to main road to fetch j in
9.35: arrival of j, who in usual overly optimistic fashion declares his intention of fixing up his ball bearings, spur and pinion, motor and aluminium shaft before we begin our drift session
9.45: arrival of housemartiniz, whom i pass his new AE86 shell to. we sit down and wait for S.M.L.C. and for j to be done with his car
9.55: arrival of S.M.L.C. and we all hang around for j to finish
10.55: we are still hanging around waiting
11.35: still waiting... i grab some nasi lemak and my stomach is momentarily appeased
12.00: he is done! and our first team event kicks off :)
