sat nite spin

as usual, sat nights are reserved for the weekly mini-drift meet. having armed my xanavi with ball bearings and oil shocks, i headed down with anticipation of better performance. but after several rounds, it still did not appear to be the case. upon which housemartiniz and kido tried out my baby and kido, our resident mechanic, proceeded to open up the chassis and helped me change my pinion and gear ratio and lock my differentials.

but even then, my car was still lacking some punch. after more tinkering, we discovered that it was an ESC problem and after reprogramming, my car became much zippier. -grin- and it was time for some drifting action!

here was the initial line-up.

from the left - silvia (driver: kido); another AE86 (driver: housemartiniz) and my xanavi :)

we actually had a real all out photo whoring session at the instigation of kido but pics are on kido's cam. shall obtain the pics from him and post them up real soon.

and here's a sneak preview of something that may be making its official appearance on this blog sometime soon. *hint hint*

spot the new kid on the block! :)

anyway, after the drift session, i went out for a late nite movie at cine - nacho libre. if you are thinking of watching this show please do so on a weekday and please leave your brain at home. you won't be needing it. plus parking, it was $13 too much to pay for a lame show. but the company of friends is always good to have, so all in all, it was worth it. kinda.
