met up with housemartiniz a couple of days back at king albert park for some drifting action. (apologies to those more inclined to think gutter thoughts for my unimaginative title -grin-)
i arrived slightly late and after some initial hiccups with me confused about the actual location and parking space, we were ready to go!
this was the line-up.

individual shots of his babies
first up his beloved AE86 (with HPI chassis)
and his skyline (which didnt see any action that night)
ok. poor picture of his skyline. sorry!!! to make it up. here's one more.
having photo-whored his cars sufficiently, we went on to give it a spin at the twisting pedestrian walkway alongside KAP macdonalds. but the floor was slippery and thus not too conducive. after one too many bangs and a crack on my shell, we decided to move in search of a good drift location. finally, we settled on the drive way just outside cold storage at the back. the surface was excellent! and the kerbs dividing the road had many convenient breaks in between for drifting practice. but the downside - even at 11plus, cars still kept turning in so we had to be really fast with picking our babies up before the real stuff sent them to plastic heaven.
all in all, we did not seem to get much drifting done but it was an entertaining night out nonetheless. final verdict on location: good but more suitable for the night owl drifters out there or the shuttle run champs.
in other news, i have put in some new stuff into my car and will be bringing it for the weekly mini meet at bukit batok. more details on the hop-ups when i get back from the meet. meanwhile, if you haven't already noticed, the layout is slightly modified now as per suggestion from a friend. it should be more photo friendly now. any more feedback jus type them into the little box at the side. :)
